Our goal at Independent Drivers LLC is to keep individuals driving for as long as possible with the safest driving strategies.

We provide driving evaluations and services for individuals who need assistance or have concerns about their driving ability. Our driving assessments evaluate an individual’s ability to make good, safe, appropriate decisions while driving and assess their ability to adhere to the rules of the road.

All evaluations are performed by a licensed occupational therapist with extensive clinical experience including, but not limited to the following diagnoses:

  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia
  • Traumatic Brain Injury
  • Stroke
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Amputees
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
  • Muscular Dystrophy
  • Mentally Challenged

Scheduling a driving evaluation is simple. Call our office and we will schedule an appointment as quickly as possible. We prefer to have a physician’s referral to schedule an evaluation, but it can be completed without one. It is also helpful if a family member is available at the time of the assessment to provide additional information.
